Skywind, the fan-developed effort to restore The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind with the engine from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, is nearing the first public release of its alpha, the creators said in an update video released this week.
The Elder Scrolls Renewal Project, which is undertaking the update isn't taking any questions on when exactly the alpha will be released. "It will be revealed in time exactly what a public developer release is."
Meantime, this trailer, detailing content in version 0.9.4 of Skywind, shows off some of the new landscaping, player modeling, interiors and exteriors. Skywind's last community update announced that more than two hours of original music would feature in the game, along with new voice acting and a crafting system.
