The GameCube controller bundle for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which includes the game, a GameCube controller and an adapter, is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

Nintendo previously announced that the Wii U entry of its fighting franchise would support GameCube controllers. The bundle itself, available for $99.99, was revealed at E3 2014. The adapter supports up to four GameCube or WaveBird controllers on the Wii U.

The bundle currently lists a release date of Dec. 31, 2014, though it's likely a placeholder.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is expected to launch this winter. The 3DS version — which includes the same characters but a few different levels — will be available Oct. 3.
