Play as Waluigi in Ocarina of Time

Who is the real hero of time? Is it the brave, stoic Link, or the runt of the litter in the Mario universe?

Thanks to the fine folks at Dorkly, who have found a ROM hack that allows you to play as the Purple Pie Eater-inspired villain, we don't have to wonder anymore.

Modder and YouTube user russmarrs2 claims credit for the creation, which he calls The Legend of Zelda: Waluigi of Time.

"Too bad, Waluigi Time!!! Waluigi knew it was time to be the hero, so he became the Hero of Time! (Fitting for his catchphrase)"

The best part is the fact that young Link is replaced by a shrunk-down Waluigi model. It looks as wonderfully ridiculous as it sounds.
