Surgeon Simulator out now on PS4 with local co-op, Morpheus controls incoming

Bossa Studios' noodle-limbed doctor sim Surgeon Simulator is now available for PlayStation 4 with local co-op controls, developers announced in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The PS4-exclusive co-op mode is drop-in, drop-out, allowing players to join their friends' surgeries by simply switching on a second DualShock 4 controller. Players can choose to assist their friends' surgeries or sabotage them in any way they like.

Surgeon Simulator's PS4 version also includes support for the PS4 camera, which will allow players to use the DualShock 4's track pad to control their in-game arm, motion controls for wrist rotation and the analog triggers to move the fingers.

In a tweet, Bossa Studios co-founder Imre Jele also mentioned that developers are currently working on a patch for Surgeon Simulator that will support Sony's Project Morpheus virtual reality headset.
