Snow, the free-to-play, open-world skiing game from developer Poppermost, is coming to PlayStation 4 as a platform exclusive, the company announced today.
Previously announced for PC and the Oculus Rift VR headset, Snow promises to provide virtual skiers the freedom to explore mountains, forests and man-made areas without "the restrictions that can weigh down traditional sports games." There's no word yet on what differences the PS4 version will include — Poppermost is showing the PC version at Gamescom — or whether Sony's virtual reality headset, Project Morpheus, will be supported.
Snow is built on Crytek's CryEngine and currently in Steam Early Access on Windows PC.
