Players eager to learn what it's like to date a pigeon will have to wait a little longer. Mediatonic's remake of pigeon dating simulator Hatoful Boyfriend has been delayed to Sept. 4, publisher Devolver Digital announced today via Twitter.
The title — originally slated to launch this Thursday, Aug. 21 —is an upscaled HD remake of the 2011 original by manga artist Hato Moa. In Hatoful Boyfriend, players are the last human woman in the world and enroll in a high school for pigeons, searching the campus for their one true love. Mediatonic's version will also includes a new scenario and ending designed by original creator Moa.
Hatoful Boyfriend will be available for Windows PC, Mac and Linux and is currently available for pre-order through Steam.
