Pokémon X and Y to offer Mega Evolution Pokémon for download this month

Two Mega Evolution-enabled Pokémon in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will become available to download by owners of both games for one month beginning Aug. 13.

Pinsir (shown above in mega evolved form above) previously restricted to just Pokémon X, and Heracross, found only in Pokémon Y, are the two monsters available. The download period runs from Aug. 13 to Sept. 17.

Further, on Aug. 18 players can go to GameStop to get a code to download the mega stone for either Pokémon to enable its Mega Evolution.
