Legend of Zelda-themed Monopoly arrives Sept. 15

Monopoly is making a special Legend of Zelda edition, launching it Sept. 15 in the U.S. GameStop is taking preorders and, yes, even for a tabletop game they're offering exclusive in-game content.

The standard game is a Monopoly board themed with the locations and characters of The Legend of Zelda series. (Chance cards are "Empty Bottle," houses are Deku Sprouts, hotels are Deku Trees. Spirit Tracks fans, you're out of luck. The railroads are other forms of transportation. Correction: I didn't look at the board closely enough; the Spirit Train is one of the transportation utilities.

The tokens are the Bow, Hookshot, Boomerang, Hylian Shield and everyone gets to fight over the Triforce — unless you preorder from GameStop, which offers an Ocarina of Time token.

The other bonus for preordering from GameStop are six "Power Cards for added game play," but there's no explanation for what they do outside of the normal Monopoly design. The money is Zelda-themed, too, so for sure those will be rupees you see on the bills.

The set is $39.99.
