Modders rejoice: Saints Row 4's development kit will be made public

As if Saints Row 4 wasn't open-endedly bizarre enough, developing studio Volition announced at PAX 2014 that they will release the official software development kit for the game on PC, which is music to the ears of modders.

Volition, as announced earlier, also is reconditioning the game with Saints Row 4: Re-Elected, a port of last year's game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There will be a full release of that game, with all of its DLC, titled Gat Out of Hell. Both are available Jan. 27, 2015.
