Handsome Jack, the uber-enemy of Borderlands 2 will be a playable character in the DLC packages announced for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel this weekend at PAX Prime in Seattle.
Canonically, it isn't actually Jack whom the player will control, but a bodyguard duplicate who has been surgically modified to be indistinct from the real guy. The playable character is included among four DLC packs that follow the release of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on Oct. 17. A season-pass purchase option, at $29.99 gives buyers all four packs, which include challenges, missions and other content not available in the main game at launch. They'll retail for $9.99 individually.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is being developed by 2K Australia in conjunction with Gearbox Software, and due for release Oct. 14 on Linux, Mac OS, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360.
