WWE 2K15 special edition includes a piece of a ring mat Hulk Hogan may have run wild on

WWE 2K15 will be available in a "Hulkamania" Edition that includes a special tchotchke for wrestling fans: A piece of WWE ring canvas that Hulk Hogan may or may not have stepped on, publisher 2K Games announced today.

According to IGN, the $99.99 Hulkamania Edition of WWE 2K15 will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it will be a limited-edition package: 2K Games is only producing 25,000 units of the set. The bundle will come with a copy of WWE 2K15, along with a piece of the ring canvas from Hogan's appearance on the March 10, 2014, episode of WWE Raw. It will also include the following physical and digital extras:

• a card featuring Hulkamania-era Hogan, hand-autographed by the man himself
• a vinyl figure from the "Hollywood" Hogan days, made by Funko
• two pre-order-exclusive playable Hulk Hogan characters
• two pre-order-exclusive playable Sting characters

WWE star John Cena also posted the first screenshot of WWE 2K15 on Twitter today. As you can see above, the image features Cena staring down Randy Orton, and it appears that developers Yuke's and Visual Concepts have made some notable upgrades to the game's character models.

WWE 2K15 is set for release Oct. 28 on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. You can check out an image of the Hulkamania Edition's contents below, as well as a full-size version of the screenshot.
