Wasteland 2 has been hit with a slight delay: The post-apocalyptic role-playing game will "likely" be available in September instead of August, creator Brian Fargo announced in a Kickstarter update last week.
"It's pretty likely that we will slip into the first or second week in September due to fulfillment of the physical goods and discs," said Fargo. Physical rewards for upper-tier Kickstarter backers include a T-shirt, poster and "doomsday preparation survival kit."
According to Fargo, Wasteland 2 developer InXile Entertainment will provide a concrete release date "as soon as we know it."
InXile originally announced a planned release window of August 2014 back in May. The studio raised more than $2.9 million on Kickstarter in the spring of 2012 to fund the development of Wasteland 2. The game will be available on Linux, Mac and Windows PC.
