Disney's Aladdin and Princess Jasmine are the next two characters to be added to the ever-growing pool of Disney Infinity Toy Box 2.0, developer Disney Interactive announced today.
The Aladdin protagonists will launch alongside new Power Discs, the collectible discs that players can place on the game's power base to import characters, vehicles and more. This will now include the option to change the Toy Box skyline to that of Agrabah, transform the terrain into the dunes and desert of the film, along with the addition of a Prince Ali costume and magic carpet.
Disney's Aladdin figure will become available in North American retail stores this fall, while Jasmine is scheduled to release a bit later in early 2015.
The Toy Box in Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition, where players can build and edit custom game worlds, will get a major overhaul, Vignocchi and Blackburn told us earlier in the year, in an attempt to make world-building faster and easier. The new edition will add new brushes for building cities, dungeons, race tracks and more, and players will be able to drop in automated builders that will procedurally generate worlds that players can then edit to further tailor to their personal tastes.
As was previously announced, Marvel's band of super heroes and villains will also be joining the Disney Infinity universe this fall with the release of the 2.0 Edition of the video game
