Half the battle for bringing the world of J.R.R. Tolkien to live in video games is creating believable characters. The latest trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor discusses just that, with voice actors Troy Baker and Alastair Duncan digging into playing Talion and the Wraith of Celebrimbor.
Both Baker and Duncan are prolific voice actors. Baker's last two years included roles as Joel in The Last of Us, the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite and Snow Villiers in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, among others. Duncan has been featured in the Mass Effect and Uncharted series, as well as held additional roles in Lightning Returns and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will launch on Sept. 30 for Playstation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Read up on what the addition of Celebrimbor means to the story and how Monolith is adapting author J.R.R. Tolkien's lore for more details.
