Merge Games has just announced Albedo: Eyes from Outer Space, a first-person puzzle/first person shooter title set in a goofy sci-fi world.
"Solve puzzles, kill aliens, escape the room," says the trailer, looking like a weird mashup of '90s shooters, 2010s environmental exploration and '60s sci-fi tropes. In other words, it looks engrossing.
It also looks gross, filled with tentalcled, giant eyeball enemies and lots of green goo.
Albedo is coming to Steam Early Access on Sept. 12.
