Spaghetti western shooter Secret Ponchos introduces The Matador

Meet the Matador, a new character coming to the spaghetti-western shooter Secret Ponchos, which is due to arrive on PlayStation 4 this fall.

Hint: Matador is not the dude seen at the beginning this trailer. She's the woman with a sword and a cape, and from the snippet of gameplay presented, she is a fast melée class fighter with a ranged throwing-knife attack. Her cape also can blind/paralyze foes.

Secret Ponchos is a class-based, multiplayer-only shooter supporting up to eight players in a variety of game types. Players duel it out on Old West maps to increase their characters' rank and fame. It's currently available in pre-release form on Steam Early Access.

The game is set to launch for PlayStation 4 this fall, and its full PC release is due to follow in early 2015. For more on the game, read our hands-on preview from PAX 2013.
