PlayStation 4 and Xbox One fans looking for a little "luxury" gaming can now sink their teeth into a console made of gold — if they have $13,699 to spare.
As reported by Emirates 24/7, the consoles were revealed at Games14, a video game convention that takes place in the Middle East. Both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were created by famous Italian jeweler Gatti.
The Collectors Edition Solid Gold Xbox One is made from 220 grams of 9 karat yellow gold, according to the GattiLuxury Instagram account, and is pure gold, not gold plated. The Limited Edition PS4 in Solid Gold, meanwhile, includes 226 grams of 9 karat yellow gold.
"Available to both Xbox and PS4 fans, the high-end materials and exquisite detailing of the gold consoles make it a great collectible item for gamers who love luxury," said Jumbo Electronics head Nadeem Khanzadah.
For the common folk, a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One sans Kinect ring in at $399.99.
