Gone Home is now a map in Counter-Strike

Indie exploration game Gone Home is the backdrop for a new Counter-Strike map developed by a fan of the Valve shooter.

The map allows for up to 32 players, placing them in the suburban setting of Gone Home as recreated by user Nipper. During each round, players will purchase weapons and gear before hunting down the enemy side while hostages spawn at random points.

"Your family is mysteriously missing again," reads the description for the map. "But you can figure that out later. Right now you have more pressing issues to attend to, like the fact that your house is full of terrorists and some dude has been taken hostage. Rescue him by taking him to the garage where you can make a swift getaway on that old bike thats been sitting there for twenty years."

You can check out the game's official Steam page right here.
