Battleborn, the upcoming first-person shooter from Gearbox Software, offers a campaign that can be played cooperatively by up to five players, and publisher 2K Games released a 13-minute gameplay demo today to show off that mode.

The footage stars the characters Oscar Mike, Montana, Thorn, Miko and Rath. The five of them land on the planet Tempest to try to harvest a resource known as shards, and have to contend with foes large and small in their quest.

Check out the video above for the entire demo, and for more details on Battleborn, read our full preview, which includes our thoughts on this co-op playthrough. Battleborn is set for release in 2015 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
