Last year's Need For Speed Rivals will be added to "The Vault" of available games subscribers to the new EA Access program for Xbox One can download and play, Electronic Arts announced today.
Correction: An earlier version of this story erroneously said Need For Speed Rivals has already been added to the collection. It will be made available sometime in the coming weeks.
Additionally, EA confirmed that the early access period for NHL 15 will begin on Thursday as expected, ahead of the game's regular Sept. 9 release. FIFA 15 likewise will have an early access period before its release on Sept. 24 and both will follow the same plan as Madden NFL 15, limiting players to just six hours of gametime over the pre-release window.
Anyone who buys the full version digitally gets the usual 10 percent discount that the EA Access program offers all digital purchases, and may transfer gamesave files for use in the full version.
Need for Speed Rivals will join Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Peggle 2 and Madden NFL 25 as full games available from the vault. A subscription costs $30 a year, or $5 monthly. Subscriptions are available only on Xbox One.
Electronic Arts also said that EA Access will be offered to 19 more locations later this month, including the Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
