You can explore the Mars, Venus and Earth's moon of Bungie's Destiny in a familiar way — Google Maps Street View-style — thanks to a new Google technology-powered website.
Destiny Planet View uses the tech that powers applications like Google Earth and Google Maps to give players an on-the-ground peek at the upcoming game's formerly colonized planets. It's a limited, on-rails perspective, but players looking forward to Destiny will get narrated insight into each location's lore and geography. Activision and Bungie promise "a few hidden real-world and in-game incentives" peppered throughout.
Destiny is coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Sept. 9.
