Hyper Light Drifter will get "an early playable slice of the game" on Sept. 26, the game's creators said on their Kickstarter page. This "preview build" will last for three days.
Correction: The preview spans the entire weekend, 12:01 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26 to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28. An earlier version of this story called it a two-day preview.
Backers of the game (at $25 and up) will receive a Steam Key delivering access to the preview build; it will be emailed to the address used with their Kickstarter account.
The build will release for Windows PC; developer Heart Machine is trying to have a version available for Mac OS but "we can't make a firm promise."
