Launched today on Steam for $19.99, The Long Dark's early access sandbox walkabout drops you in a post-apocalyptic winter-land, with a mission to stay alive. Major enemies include hunger, thirst, cold, icy precipices and wildlife. As this trailer from developer Hinterland shows, you get to stay alive by finding shelter, making use of limited resources and steering clear of wolves.
