Sleeping Dogs sequel Triad Wars is coming to PC, but nothing else

Triad Wars, the upcoming open-world sequel to Sleeping Dogs, is coming only to Windows PC systems — leaving out the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners who purchased the previous title.

The upcoming release is set in the original Sleeping Dogs universe, taking place in the city of Hong Kong. Players take on the role of the criminal kingpin of the Triad underworld, battling against rivals, hacking, extorting and money laundering their way to success.

"It's your city to claim and how you do it is entirely up to you," reads a statement on the game's official website.

Triad Wars was first revealed last year by United Front Games, the studio that co-developed Sleeping Dogs alongside Square Enix London Studios. Starting today at 12 p.m. PST, the studio will take part in its first Reddit AMA and answer questions directly from fans.

Those interested in the Windows PC release can register here for its beta today. Alternatively, those who are already Square Enix members can simply log-in.
