Meet the level 30 Destiny player who makes us all look like filthy casuals

How long does it take to get to level 30 in Destiny? A very long time. This is the first character in the game that has hit level 30, and their stats are bordering on the crazy.

"Across all 3 of his Hunters he has spent a total 107 hours 15 minutes and 22 seconds leveling to 30. About 25 percent of that time was spent in the Crucible, while in the Vault of Glass he took 13 hours 6 minutes 40 seconds, died 251 times, killed 2008 enemies, and performed 504 precision kills," a post about the achievement on Destinydb claimed.

You can see the player's profile and check out some of his stats, although a tweet on his fireteam's account claimed it was smart playing, not merely thoughtless grinding, that helped him along to this goal.

Since leveling past the soft cap of level 20 is done via gear, and not merely experience points, there's no sure way to achieve a level 30 character in a set amount of time, but this is a good data point for the kind of hard work and dedication it will take to get there.
