Guild Wars 2 kicks off free trial week tomorrow

Guild Wars 2 will offer players a free trial week beginning on Sept. 25, the developer announced via the game's official website.

ArenaNet launched the massively multiplayer online game, which does not include a recurring subscription, in 2012. Players can register a free account now for when the trial begins at 3 a.m ET; it runs until Oct. 1. Those who have participated in past free trials can use their existing account to play for free as well.

Guild Wars 2 is available as a regular edition for $49.99 or a special edition for $69.99.
