QuakeCon 2015 will run from July 23-26, 2015, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, publisher Bethesda Softworks announced today.
Next year's convention will be the 20th annual QuakeCon — the inaugural one took place in 1996 in Garland, Texas, near id Software's offices at the time. QuakeCon has taken place at the Hilton Anatole for years, and Bethesda has once again partnered with the hotel for a special room rate with which visitors can book rooms starting now.
As usual, QuakeCon tickets themselves will be free; they'll be made available at a later date. The show is highlighted by what Bethesda bills as "North America's largest BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party," and will also feature panels, tournaments, previews of Bethesda games and other activities. This year, Bethesda treated QuakeCon 2014 attendees to an exclusive reveal of the new Doom.
