DICE’s first-person shooter Bad Company 2 and Vigil Games’ action-adventure Darksiders 2 are likely familiar to many Xbox owners. Chariot is a new title from Canadian developer Frima Games and part of the ID@Xbox program for independent, self-published games. It’s a 2D, local co-op platformer featuring a princess and her fiancé who are transporting the corpse of her father, the king, to its final resting place. For more on the Xbox One game, read Polygon’s preview of Chariot from E3.
Here’s a breakdown of when October’s Games with Gold titles will be available.
- Chariot ($14.99 ERP): Available from Oct. 1-31 on Xbox One
- Battlefield: Bad Company 2 ($19.99 ERP): Available from Oct. 1-15 on Xbox 360
- Darksiders 2 ($39.99 ERP): Available from Oct. 16-31 on Xbox 360
Xbox Live Gold subscribers currently have access to Super Time Force on Xbox One and Halo: Reach on Xbox 360 as part of September’s Games with Gold offerings.
