Neverending Nightmares is scary, but it certainly isn't jump-scary. It's rare for a horror game to not use that particular tool of the genre to spook players, but for this title — which explores the real-life nightmares of its creator — it just wouldn't be appropriate. Jump scares are fun; nightmares are usually anything but.
