This year will mark the first ever official Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon. While we'll need to wait until the weekend of Nov. 7 for that event, the first qualifying matches are happening already.
Today (Sep. 26) and tomorrow (Sep. 27), the top 16 European Hearthstone players are facing off in a qualifying tournament at Dreamhack Sweden. You can watch the matches live on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel, which we've embedded above.
The top 16 American players will have their own qualifying tournament on Oct. 5 and 6 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Those matches will be streamed as well.
I'll be watching all weekend to see if I can pick up any tricks to perform better in my own games. Who's with me?
