There are more than 13,000 sprites jammed into this collage found on Reddit yesterday, and it's large enough that you may blow it up to see if you can find your favorite.
Plenty of repeat characters and sprites from Square Enix games (Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy figure prominently.
The full resolution image is available here. It's not that huge (1920 by 1200 pixels, 3.6 MB) and because we're dealing with pixel art to begin with, you can blow it up 400 percent and still make things out clearly.
