The season pass for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will feature new challenge modes, narrative-driven hunt missions and the chance for players to come face-to-face with the Dark Lord Sauron, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today.
Available for $24.99, the season pass includes three new sets of story missions. The "Guardians of the Flaming Eye" Orc Warband mission will pit players against the most elite of the Black Gate's guards, while "Lord of the Hunt" grants access to new hunt missions for the chance to collect more powerful runes. "The Bright Lord" mission allows players to control Celebrimbor as he wields the One Ring of Power in battle against Sauron.
Additionally, season pass buyers will get early access to the "Trials of War" challenges, which include an Endless Challenge mode that tasks players with cutting down waves of enemies for new upgrades and skills. These modes include online leaderboards.
