Super Smash Bros. players are reporting a glitch in the Nintendo 3DS version of the game that blows up characters into comically huge monsters.
Super Smash Bros. is currently available in Japan; players have demonstrated the glitch in several videos on YouTube and in photos posted on Twitter. Although Yoshi appears to be the most common character to grow to Godzilla-sized proportions, Twitter user ti_owo posted a photo of Pokémon Greninja, who appears to be just as large and in charge on the battlefield.
スーパーキノコとかはダメでどうやら組手限定のようです。ヨッシー以外も大きくなるようなので好きな子を是非。 pic.twitter.com/3U9rTCmI4G

According to YouTube user pikatto64, who uses the bug to supersize Yoshi in the video above, the glitch can only be exploited in Multi-Man mode.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS launches in North America Oct. 3. The Wii U version is expected to launch this holiday. For more on the handheld game, check out our review.
