The Vanishing of Ethan Carter's unique, extrasensory take on detective work

New, 4 comments

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter doesn't explain how you, the protagonist of this open-world story, are supposed to conduct a crime scene investigation. It also does not really tell you that you are going to conduct crime scene investigations in the first place, so I guess there's no harm done, ultimately. The mechanics of murder-unravelling in The Vanishing of Ethan Carter are clever and super satisfying, and require some detective work of your own to figure out. Check out the Overview video above to watch a demonstration of the game's blend of ESP and CSI.
