Capcom has just released concept art for its upcoming Resident Evil Revelations 2, showing off a stormy island and a dank, dilapidated prison. The game was just revealed at Sony's pre-TGS press conference, and is due out in "early 2015."
The first screen appears similar to a leaked asset that tipped us off to the game's existence last month, but it's the island concept art that gives it context. A post at Bloody-Disgusting notes the similarities of the island's appearance to Rockfort Island from Dreamcast installment Resident Evil Code: Veronica, which is a plausible location for the game, given the series' propensity for revisiting familiar locales.

Taking a trip to the game's official site relates a few details and a look at the game's live-action concept teaser, which shows a young girl running through a population slowly changing from healthy to infected. Not that the teaser will be indicative of the gameplay, but I'd personally love to see a Resident Evil game starring a young girl. If Clementine can carry The Walking Dead, surely the world is ready for a young lady who can navigate zombie-infestations in a more action-oriented context.
The game will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in early 2015.
