Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is bringing a few twists to the franchise's multiplayer formula, perhaps the most obvious of which is the futuristic exoskeleton that gives players the ability to dash, double-jump and power stomp their enemies. But that's just one aspect of how developer Sledgehammer Games is hoping to mix up Call of Duty multiplayer.
In a new 7-minute video preview of Advanced Warfare's multiplayer modes, Sledgehammer dives into the game's focus on customization. From cosmetic options to weapon and exosuit loot drops to the refined "Pick 13" loadout system, there's a lot to digest. Beyond that, there's a sneak peek at the game's multiplayer maps and modes, including Uplink, which looks more akin to a traditional sport than team-based deathmatch.
