Video showcases a solid 20 minutes of Assassin's Creed Rogue gameplay

Ubisoft showed off a solid 20 minutes of gameplay from Assassin's Creed Rogue at EGX over the weekend, and posted the video of the demo to YouTube. It offers a long look at the open-world missions offered by the game, which will launch for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 alongside Assassin's Creed Unity on Nov. 11.

As the title implies, Assassin's Creed Rogue involves an assassin who switches sides. Protagonist Shay Patrick Cormac can intercept the pigeons carrying assassination orders, then go foil the hit and kill the assassin assigned to it. This video shows that type of mission being carried out.

There's lots of naval combat on the icy arctic seas, and, of course, parkour galore in the whaling towns. For more, see Polygon's preview from mid-August, and how playing as a Templar will be different from fighting as an assassin.
