20th Century Fox has just released the first trailer for Tak3n, the third in the increasingly-ludicrous action series about the women in Liam Neeson's life being kidnapped or otherwise hurt by shadowy bad guys.
The third installment in the franchise sees Neeson's Bryan Mills (an ex-covert ops officer, naturally) framed for the murder of his ex-wife, who he apparently just started getting along with again. In the trailer, we get to scope out Neeson cracking skulls, talking in a low voice to the cops who are out to get him and a whole bunch of explosions.
Despite the placement of the 3 in Tak3n's title, the series has always played it straight with action and hefty doses of violence. There's no reason to think that'll change in the third chapter.
Tak3n will release on Jan. 9.
