After months of teases and a debut at this year's International Dota 2 championships in July, Valve has finally released the Techies.
The Techies (or Goblin Techies) is one hero, technically, but is composed of several goblins bent on blowing everyone up. Including themselves. While they have a variety of land mines to lay, including regular mines, stun mines, and at level six, have access to a remote mine ultimate ability. But their defining trait requires suicide. Available at level one, Suicide Squad does enough damage to kill weaker heroes outright even at full health in the early game.
This will be a disaster. A beautiful, beautiful disaster. We loved you, Dota 2. You will be missed.
