Fans of Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo who can't attend this year's BlizzCon — the two-day convention dedicated to all things Blizzard Entertainment — in-person can still catch the show virtually, thanks to the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket.
The virtual ticket provides access to live streaming of BlizzCon 2014's opening and closing ceremonies, panels, interviews, costume and talent contests and more. Buying a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket also grants access to in-game items for World of Warcraft, StarCraft 2, Diablo 3, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm. Virtual ticket holders also get a crack at online store merchandise from Oct. 17 to Nov. 11.
The BlizzCon Virtual Ticket costs $39.99, the same price as the DirecTV BlizzCon 2014 pay-per-view option.
This year's BlizzCon takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., from Nov. 7-8.
At last year's BlizzCon, Blizzard unveiled the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, offered first details on the Warcraft movie and announced Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft for iPhone and Android.
