The title of Assassin's Creed Rogue gives you an important piece of information about the game: Its protagonist, Shay Patrick Cormac, is a former Assassin who's now fighting for the Templars. A new gameplay trailer, released today by publisher Ubisoft, focuses on his quest to fight back against the order that tried to kill him.

"The Assassins were my brothers, and now I hunt them to the ends of the earth," says Cormac. "And I swear, I will not fail."

Assassin's Creed Rogue, which Ubisoft announced a month ago, is set for release Nov. 11 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Its current-generation counterpart, Assassin's Creed Unity, will be available the same day on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
