Grand Theft Auto 5's PC launch date delayed to March

Grand Theft Auto 5's PC launch, originally scheduled for later this month, has been pushed to March 24, Rockstar Games announced this morning.

"Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be," the publisher said in a statement. "Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans."

Grand Theft Auto 5's PC launch date was originally planned for a fall release window alongside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions. In September, Rockstar games moved the PC launch to Jan. 27.
