Double Damage games, the "micro-studio" comprised of Travis Baldree and Erich Schaefer, today announced that their space adventure Rebel Galaxy will be released on Xbox One and Mac.
The title, which was unveiled last year here at Polygon, had previously been slated for PlayStation 4 and Steam. Baldree said that a multi-platform release has always been the goal.
"It’s a pleasure to announce to Xbox and Mac communities that Rebel Galaxy will be coming to the Xbox One and OSX," Baldree said in a press release. "We wanted to wait to announce it until we had the game up and running on both platforms. That milestone has now been achieved!" Work on the ports is being handled by their partner, Blitworks.

Rebel Galaxy is a space opera that asks players to explore a gritty galaxy as the scheming captain of a massive capital ship. The men behind Diablo and Mythos have taken their expertise in action RPGs and smothered their space game with the same kind of addictive, loot-spawning mechanics that kept PC players' attention through several console generations.
Double Damage plans to have a demo of the game at this year's PAX South in San Antonio, Texas later this month.
