Dead or Alive 5 Last Round's final fighter unveiled

Team Ninja officially unveiled a new fighter coming to Dead or Alive 5 Last Round next month, the teenage schoolgirl Honoka, who borrows her move set from the rest of the Dead or Alive roster.

Publisher Koei Tecmo describes Honoka as a "sweet, easygoing kind of girl" who practices the art of Honoka Fu. She's like the Dead or Alive equivalent of Virtua Fighter's Dural in that her fighting style is an amalgamation of other fighters. Because of her youth and build, her attacks may not be as strong as the fighters she borrows fighting techniques from, Koei Tecmo says. But Honoka has a fighting stance called Hissatsu-no-Kamae that imbues her with extra strength and grants her some original moves.

Honoka joins Raidou, the boss of the original Dead or Alive, in the expanded Dead or Alive 5 Last Round roster. You can see screenshots of Honoka in one-on-one and tag team action in the gallery below.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round comes to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Feb. 17. Koei Tecmo will release a free-to-play version of the game called Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters for PS4 and Xbox One.
