Mortal Kombat X will see the return of two familiar Mortal Kombat 2-era fighters, Kung Lao and Kitana, according to a new gameplay trailer for NetherRealm's fighting game.
The Kung Lao of Mortal Kombat X will wear many hats, as he's shown with deadly headwear variations that include a smooth, razor sharp edge and a spiked edge. It appears that some of his trademark moves, like his dive kick and hat toss, will return.
Kitana will once again wield her signature fan blades, which you can see put to gruesome use on Kano, who looks like he could really use a hand by the end of this trailer. We also get a peek at Goro, one of the game's pre-order exclusive incentives.
Mortal Kombat X will be released worldwide on April 14, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC.
