Sarkeesian will appear on Nightline tonight to discuss sexism in video games

Feminist Frequency's Anita Sarkeesian is due to appear on Nightline tonight, to talk about the issue of sexism and harassment in video games.

"Tune in to ABC Nightline tonight," she tweeted. "I'm featured in their news report about the epidemic of harassment women face in gaming communities." ABC's Nightline, a late night news and talk show which airs at 12:35 am ET on weekdays, also tweeted. "Are video games sexist? Our guest on Nightline thinks that many games like Grand Theft Auto V are and is discussing why she thinks so tonight."

Sarkeesian, the creator of a series of documentaries titled Tropes vs Women in Video Games, became the focal point for an abusive online campaign in 2014, as well as death threats. She previously appeared on The Colbert Report to talk about the issue.
