Defeat NFL stars in Madden 15, and Twitch and Duracell might send you to the Super Bowl

Madden NFL 15 players can take on three NFL stars this weekend during a 26-hour livestreamed tournament run by Duracell, the company and Twitch announced recently. A trip to this year's Super Bowl is on the line.

The Duracell Longest Lasting Tournament will run from 1 p.m. PT tomorrow, Jan. 16, to 3 p.m. PT on Jan. 17. For those 26 hours, the public will face off against Team Duracell, a squad of nine expert Madden players. A rotating group of NFL athletes will also play for Team Duracell: Arian Foster of the Houston Texans (screenshot above), Patrick Willis of the San Francisco 49ers and Maurice Jones-Drew of the Oakland Raiders.

Each of the three will play for a four-hour block during the Twitch livestream. Jones-Drew will kick off the tournament, playing from 1-5 p.m. on Jan. 16, and Willis will jump in from 4-8 p.m. Foster will hop online on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (If you're wondering why the tournament lasts for 26 hours, Duracell says that its rechargeable batteries provide "26 hours of non-stop gaming in video game controllers.")

Participants must be playing on the Xbox One version of Madden 15. The person who, at the end of the tournament, holds the longest win streak will win the grand prize: two tickets to Super Bowl XLIX, which will be held Feb. 1 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona; travel and accommodations for the trip; and $8,000 in cash.

The second-place and third-place players will receive $5,000 and $3,000 cash prizes, respectively, and runner-ups will get autographed NFL gear. Other prizes include Duracell/Twitch T-shirts and Duracell Ion Speed 4000 battery chargers with four rechargeable AA batteries.

Interested parties can pre-register on the tournament's website, or just enter a queue during the livestream.
