Capcom's episodic survival horror game Resident Evil Revelations 2 won't make its previously scheduled Feb. 17 release date, the publisher announced this week. Instead, the first episode of the four-part game will drop Feb. 24, first in North America on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
On Feb. 25, the first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will drop on Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam globally, and on PS3 and PS4 in Europe. Episodes are expected to roll out on a weekly basis, wrapping up on March 17 for PlayStation platforms in North America, March 18 everywhere else.
Capcom says its pushing the game back one week "in an effort to fine-tune the final product."
Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be released on disc as well, on March 17 in North America and on March 20 in Europe. For a breakdown of what's featured in each individual episode, the complete season and the disc-based versions, head over to Capcom Unity.
Sony and Capcom recently announced that Revelations 2 will also come to PlayStation Vita sometime this spring.
