Sunset Overdrive raises Gamerscore, lowers price

Sunset Overdrive, developer Insomniac Games' open-world action game infused with mutating energy drinks, has 75 more Gamerscore to earn, according to a post today on Xbox Wire.

The increased Gamerscore arrives through three new challenges, each with an achievement worth 25 points.

• Hardcore!: Buck National vs The Apocalypse. Beat the score of 600,000 on the Challenge "Buck's National vs The Apocalypse."
• Hardcore!: Buck Strikes Back. Beat the score of 564,500 on the Challenge "Buck's Strikes Back."
• Hardcore!: Buck Stops Here. Beat the score of 703,700 on the Challenge "Buck's Stops Here."

For a limited time, Xbox Live Gold members can also purchase Sunset Overdrive for $35.99 from the Xbox Store, a 40 percent discount off of its regular $59.99 price.
