The real-life actors who portray Captain America (Chris Evans) and Star-Lord/Peter Quill from Guardians of the Galaxy (Chris Pratt), have started a friendly bet on this year's Super Bowl. Evans is rooting for the Patriots (the colors fit perfectly for the Captain), while Pratt is on the side of the Seahawks.
Like true superheroes, however, they aren't bidding money or cars or other objects of superhuman wealth — no, the terms of this argument are ridiculously sweet.
@ChrisEvans OK. Seahawks win you fly yourself to Seattle, visit @seattlechildren hospital as Captain America, waving the 12th man flag.

@prattprattpratt I accept. And when the Patriots humiliate your seachickens, I expect Star-Lord to arrive at @chris_haven in a Brady jersey

The @chris_haven handle refers to Christopher's Haven, a nonprofit that provides "supportive housing for families whose children are receiving outpatient pediatric cancer treatments in Boston, MA." Basically, whomever loses the bet will go visit with sick children in the winner's chosen city.
Two guys who make their living playing superheroes are betting on football for charity. There's a very special American beauty to the whole thing.
